Emotion control

As an actor it is fun to tap into a number of different characters. What is dangerous about being an actor that it is sometimes hard to seperate yourself from the character. Johnny depp played Jack sparrow in the Pritates of the carribean and was so into it. Mr. Debt is an excellent actor but got so attached to the charcter that people had to just get used to him talking like Jack Sparrow. Another example of a role taking over a persons mind is the joker.

The fact that we have to get in the moment is rough becuase if you are a good actor you will adopt the very characteristics that may counter your thought pattern. What is interesting is that the more you are stuck to the character the greater chance that you have of loseing your personality. This is why in my opinion actors believe that they need to party and they need to get lose becuase they play som much roles that are stressful to the mind there emotions are out of whack. I am just glad that I have a strong foundation to fall back on, I know that in the future i will be playing roles that may be very controvercial to people in and out of my faith.
